Compatible printers and label format

These white direct-thermal labels measure 59 mm by 101 mm and come two rolls of 300 labels each. The permanent adhesive sticks to most surfaces without smudging or yellowing. No ink or toner is needed because the material reacts to heat from the print head.

Not for LabelWriter 550 or 5XL owners

Buyers using a Dymo LabelWriter 550, 550 Turbo or 5XL cannot use these rolls. The same restriction applies to anyone needing a different label size or a non-thermal printing method. All other listed Dymo, Zebra and desktop thermal printers are supported.

Critical specification: direct-thermal 30344 size

The single detail that decides fit is the 30344 label dimension combined with direct-thermal chemistry. If the printer requires that exact format and uses heat-based printing, the rolls will work; otherwise they will not.

Questions about this item

How do I load the DM-30344 labels into my LabelWriter 450, and what step do people often miss?

Open the cover, drop the roll in with the labels facing down, pull the leading edge past the tear bar, then close the cover firmly until it clicks — the printer will not feed if the cover is not fully latched.

Will the adhesive on these 300-count rolls degrade or need replacement over time?

The permanent adhesive is designed for the life of the label; no maintenance or replacement of the adhesive is required once the label is applied.

What is the first limit I will hit when printing large batches on a LabelWriter 4XL?

Each roll holds 300 labels, so the roll capacity is the first limit you reach during sustained printing.
