12 mm Black on Clear Tape

This pack contains two laminated cartridges that print black text on a clear background. Each roll is 12 mm wide and 26.2 feet long. The tape works with a wide range of Brother P-touch label makers for office, warehouse or home organisation.

Drop-in cartridge installation

The cassette snaps into the printer compartment without tools or alignment steps. A common issue is inserting the cartridge upside down, which prevents the machine from detecting the tape. Ensure the notches face the correct direction before closing the cover.

Verify model compatibility

Check that your label maker appears in the supported model list before ordering. The tape is designed for TZe-131 specifications and will not fit machines that require a different cartridge width or core type.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 12mm tape feeds and prints correctly on my PT-D210 after installing the cassette?

Insert the cassette, close the cover, and press the Print button; the PT-D210 should advance the 12mm tape smoothly and produce sharp black text on the clear laminated surface without jams or faded characters.

The pack contains two TZe-131 cassettes — do I need to buy a separate cutter blade or cleaning cartridge for my PT-H110?

No extra cutter or cleaner is required; each cassette includes its own tape and the PT-H110 uses its built-in cutter, so the two 12mm cassettes are ready to use straight from the box.

Should I choose the 12mm 26.2 ft roll or a different width for labelling toolboxes and file folders with my PT-D600?

The 12mm width and 26.2 ft length suit toolbox tags and file-folder tabs well; wider tapes exist but 12mm fits the PT-D600 and matches the listed TZe-131 format.
