Product Identity

This HDMI 2.0 KVM switch handles bi-directional switching between two sources and one display or one source and two displays. It suits users who need to share a single 4K screen between a console and a streaming device or route one media player to two separate televisions.

Bundled Impact

The package includes only the switch unit itself with no external power adapter. Operation draws power directly from connected HDMI sources, so the setup works immediately when all linked devices supply sufficient current through their ports.

Interface Limits

HDMI 2.0 caps video at 4K resolution and 60fps with 12-bit per channel colour depth up to 32-bit total. The switch passes HDCP signals and supports compressed audio formats, but it cannot drive both output displays simultaneously in splitter mode.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 2.0 ports or the manual push button need replacement after frequent switching?

The switch draws power from connected devices so there is no external adapter to fail, and the manual push button is the only moving part; HDMI ports are solid-state and rated for thousands of cycles.

What is the first limit reached when running 4K 60fps 12-bit content continuously?

The 4K 60fps 12-bit per channel (32-bit total) signal is the maximum bandwidth the HDMI 2.0 interface supports, so sustained use stays within that ceiling without hitting a lower bottleneck.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise when powered all day from a PS4 and a monitor?

No fan is present and the device is powered solely through the HDMI cables, so heat output is minimal and operation is completely silent during extended sessions.
