Guardair Pneumatic Vacuum 1548 Pistol Grip

This pneumatic vacuum features a pistol-grip design for comfortable handling during cleaning tasks. It operates using compressed air to generate suction through the included nozzle. The unit is constructed with an aluminum body for durability in workshop environments. Sound output measures 89 dBA during operation.

Suited For Compressed Air Cleaning Tasks

Technicians with an existing air supply will find this tool effective for debris removal and material collection. The flexible 18 in steel nozzle reaches into confined spaces and awkward angles. Buyers without a compatible air compressor or required fittings cannot use this vacuum. It is not intended for liquid recovery or hazardous material cleanup.

Flexible 18in Steel Nozzle Reach

The single included nozzle measures 18 inches in length and features a flexible steel construction. This allows the operator to direct suction into tight or curved areas that rigid attachments cannot access. The steel tip resists wear from abrasive debris during use. Nozzle angle adjustability is the primary factor for fitting specific application requirements.

Questions about this item

What air-inlet fitting does the 1548 vacuum gun require?

It uses a 1/4-inch female NPT air inlet, so connect a matching male NPT quick-coupler or hose fitting.

How do I install the 18-inch flexible nozzle correctly?

Thread the steel-tipped nozzle into the gun body until snug; the common mistake is leaving it loose, which breaks the vacuum seal.

When should I replace the steel nozzle tip on this vacuum?

Replace it when the tip shows visible wear, deformation or no longer holds its flexible angle during use.
