Gunnar Cruz Kids Blue Light Glasses

These teal computer glasses are built for children aged four to eight who spend time on screens. A durable nylon frame and hingeless design give extreme flexibility while weighing only 19.5 grams. Clear lenses block 35% of blue light and 100% of UV light with smudge resistant coatings. A curved nose rest spreads weight evenly across the 14 millimetre bridge.

Upgrade from basic screen filters

Software filters shift colour balance but do not stop blue light at the source. These glasses replace stick-on filters and app modes with optical lenses that are clinically proven and doctor recommended. The jump is worth it when a child needs consistent protection across every device without changing settings on each one. Prescription range from minus five to plus five covers most young wearers.

Suits parents wanting daily eye protection

The small 46 millimetre lens width and 120 millimetre temple length fit ages four to eight. Included case and microfiber cloth keep lenses clean between sessions. Not for older children or teens needing larger frames. Not for users who want the stronger 65% amber tint option. Not for buyers who need adjustable nose pads or metal hinge construction.

Questions about this item

Will the 120 mm temple length and 14 mm nose bridge fit a six-year-old comfortably?

The frame measures 120 mm temple length and 14 mm nose bridge, designed for ages four to eight with a curved nose rest for even weight distribution.

How do I put the hingeless nylon frames on my child without snapping them?

Gently flex the durable nylon temples outward — they are hingeless for extreme flexibility — then slide the 46 mm lenses over the eyes; avoid forcing the nose pads.

How often should I replace the smudge-resistant coating on the clear lenses?

The smudge-resistant coating is permanent; clean only with the included microfiber cloth and store in the supplied case to maintain 35% blue light and 100% UV protection.
