Cruz Kids Large for ages 8–12

These protective computer glasses are built for children who spend long periods in front of screens. The durable nylon frame uses a hingeless design that flexes without breaking. Clear lenses block 35% of blue light and 100% of UV light while a curved nose rest spreads weight evenly across the bridge.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive wearable, the glasses generate no heat, produce no sound and draw no electrical power. The 16.3 gram weight and flexible nylon construction keep pressure low during extended sessions. Smudge resistant coatings reduce the need for frequent cleaning.

49 mm lens width

Each lens measures 49 mm wide with a 14 mm nose bridge and 125 mm temples, giving a total frame width of 123 mm. The prescription range covers -5 to +5 diopters. A protective case and microfiber cloth are included.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the Cruz Kids Large frames on a child and which step is most often missed?

Place the 49 mm lenses over the eyes, hook the 125 mm temples behind the ears, and adjust the 14 mm curved nose rest so weight sits evenly — skipping the nose-rest tweak is the common mistake.

What upkeep will the lenses and frame need over time?

Wipe the smudge-resistant lenses with the included microfiber cloth; store the 16.3 g nylon frames in the supplied case to avoid scratches — no other maintenance is required.

At what point does blue-light protection stop increasing during a long session?

The clear lenses block a fixed 35 % of blue light and 100 % UV regardless of wear time, so the limit is reached immediately and does not change with sustained use.
