Eight-channel 4K DVR kit with 2 TB storage, eight 5 MP turret cameras, AI face, human and vehicle detection, built-in microphones and 100 feet night vision
Camera inputs 8 Channel
The GW Security GW9508XVR kit provides an eight channel digital video recorder with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive and eight 5MP turret cameras. It is designed for homeowners or small businesses that want a complete wired surveillance system with AI face, human and vehicle detection.
Four 60 foot and four 100 foot pre-made BNC cables are included so each camera connects directly to the recorder without crimping tools. The fixed 3.6mm lens gives an 86 degree viewing angle, and the built-in microphones add audio capture. Running cables through walls or ceilings remains the main installation effort.
Verify that the recorder can reach a mains outlet and your router for remote viewing via the supplied 10 foot Ethernet cable. Confirm the 4K HDMI or VGA output matches your monitor input. The system records in H.265 HEVC at up to 4K 2160p across all channels, so ensure the 2TB drive capacity meets your retention needs.

Other versions of this model
Check the display output on the HDMI port; the DVR lists 4K 2160p as the maximum display frame rate across all eight channels.
The kit ships with four 60‑foot and four 100‑foot pre‑made BNC cables, a 10‑foot Ethernet cable, USB mouse, remote control, mounting screws and quick guide; you will need a monitor with HDMI or VGA input and a router for remote access.
The supplied unit already contains a 2TB hard drive; the specifications list 1TB as the base capacity, so the 2TB version doubles the recording time for 2592 TVI streams.
