8 MP 4K varifocal turret camera

The Gyration CYBERVIEW 811T is an 8 MP network turret camera that captures 4K video at up to 20 frames per second. It uses a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a motorised varifocal lens to cover horizontal angles from 107.4° down to 29.2°. Power over Ethernet simplifies cabling for outdoor installations.

Suits fixed outdoor positions needing adjustable

Installers who need a single camera that can be optically zoomed during setup will benefit from the varifocal range and 360° pan capability. The 256 GB microSD slot provides local recording without a separate recorder. Buyers who want continuous optical zoom during live monitoring or who require a built-in heater for extreme cold should look at other models.

Varifocal lens with 107.4° to 29.2° horizontal angle

The motorised varifocal lens adjusts the horizontal field of view between 107.4° wide and 29.2° narrow, letting installers match the exact scene coverage required. This single specification determines whether the camera can replace multiple fixed-lens units on a site.

Questions about this item

Does the Gyration CYBERVIEW 811T include a microSD card or must I buy one separately?

The camera has a slot supporting up to 256 GB microSD cards; no card is included so you must purchase one separately.

Should I choose the 8 MP 20 fps stream or the 5 MP 30 fps stream for smoother motion?

Select 8 MP at 20 fps for maximum detail or 5 MP at 30 fps when fluid motion matters more than pixel count.

What does the 3840 x 2160 resolution look like on a typical 1080p monitor?

The 4K feed downscales to 1920 x 1080 on a 1080p screen, so you see a cropped or scaled view unless you zoom digitally.
