4 MP outdoor dome camera

The Gyration CYBERVIEW411D-TAA is a 4 MP dome network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3" CMOS sensor and a motorised 2.7-13.5 mm varifocal lens to capture 2688 x 1520 video at up to 30 fps. Starlight technology and 120 dB true WDR preserve detail in low light and high-contrast scenes.

Suitable uses and limits

Installers needing intelligent perimeter alerts such as cross-line, intrusion and area entry or exit detection will benefit from the smart intrusion prevention that filters foliage, birds and light changes. The camera also supports 9:16 corridor mode for narrow vertical fields. Buyers who require more than 4 MP resolution, a wider focal range or built-in infrared illumination should evaluate other models.

Deciding specification

The 2.7-13.5 mm varifocal lens sets the adjustable field of view and working distance for each installation. If the required viewing angle or mounting distance falls outside this range, a different lens specification is needed.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the 1/3" CMOS sensor dome camera get when recording 4MP at 30fps around the clock?

The unit is a passive dome design with no moving parts or internal fans, so it runs silently; typical operating temperatures for this class of sensor stay within the manufacturer's rated range without added cooling.

Which cables and power source must I already have to install the CYBERVIEW411D-TAA with its 2.7-13.5mm lens?

You need a single Ethernet cable for data and PoE power, plus a compatible PoE switch or injector; the camera also provides one alarm input, one alarm output, one audio input and one audio output for optional wiring.

Will the 2688x1520 @30fps stream work with my existing NVR that only handles 1920x1080?

The camera can be set to 2MP (1920x1080) @30/25fps, matching your NVR's maximum resolution while keeping the same 2.7-13.5mm varifocal lens coverage.
