Hahnemuhle Bamboo Gloss Baryta Paper

The Hahnemuhle Bamboo Gloss Baryta Paper is the world's first FineArt inkjet paper made from 90% sustainable bamboo fibres. It features a premium high-gloss baryta coating designed for exceptional print results. The natural white hue contains no optical brighteners and offers a lightly textured surface. This acid- and lignin-free paper comes in an 8.5" x 11" box of 25 sheets.

Printer and workflow compatibility

Check that your inkjet printer supports fine art media and the 8.5" x 11" sheet size before ordering. The high-gloss baryta coating is optimised for pigment and dye inks but may not suit laser or plain-paper workflows. Ensure your printing software allows custom media profiles for baryta surfaces. The 25-sheet box requires storage away from humidity and direct light to maintain coating integrity.

Upgrade from standard photo papers

This paper replaces standard resin-coated glossy or lustre photo papers when archival quality and tonal depth are the priority. The barium sulphate layer delivers enhanced tonal range, sharpness, and deep blacks that standard coatings cannot match. The jump is worth it for exhibition prints, portfolio work, or limited editions where longevity and a natural white aesthetic matter. It is not for high-volume draft printing or budgets focused on lowest cost per sheet.
