Superior Quality Canvas

This 100% cotton canvas with a 430gsm basis weight is designed for professional artists and photographers who require museum-grade archival prints. The acid-free construction with a pH value of 7 meets ISO 9706 standards for long-term preservation. A natural white surface without optical brighteners ensures authentic colour reproduction.

Instant Drying Workflow

The matt inkjet coating provides instant drying behaviour, allowing immediate handling and varnishing after printing without smudging. This efficiency supports high-volume studio production where turnaround time matters. Compatibility with both pigmented and dye inkjet systems offers flexibility across different printer fleets.

Roll Format Constraints

The 44in width and 39ft length on a 3in core suit large-format printers but may not fit smaller desktop devices. Elasticity aids stretching onto frames, yet the heavy 430gsm weight demands a sturdy stretcher and adequate drying space. Buyers needing sheet-fed convenience or lighter substrates for framing without stretching should consider alternatives.

Questions about this item

Will the 100% cotton canvas need any special treatment or replacement over time?

The acid-free, pH 7 canvas meets ISO 9706 museum-grade standards, so it requires no special maintenance and will not degrade or need replacement under normal archival conditions.

What is the first limit reached when printing continuously on the 44-inch wide roll?

The 39-foot roll length is the first hard limit; once the 39 feet are printed the roll is exhausted and must be replaced.

Does the matt coating produce noticeable odour or heat during all-day printing?

The instant-drying, water-based coating emits no significant odour or heat, allowing continuous printing without ventilation concerns beyond normal room airflow.
