Gallery Wrap Stretcher Bars

The Hahnemuhle Gallerie Wrap Pro Bars set contains six stretcher bar units measuring 1.75 by 36 inches. Each kit includes corner braces, glue and tape so artists and photographers can produce professional gallery wraps without a frame shop.

Capacity and headroom

The bars are designed for canvas digital mediums such as 400gsm Daguerre Canvas and 410gsm Monet Canvas. They hold those weights securely, but heavier or thicker substrates may exceed the tension the bars can maintain.

1.75 inch bar depth

The 1.75 inch profile determines the finished wrap thickness and the amount of canvas needed to fold around the edges. Buyers who need a deeper or shallower wrap profile should choose a different bar depth.

Questions about this item

Will these 1.75-inch deep stretcher bars fit inside my existing 36-inch frames?

The bars are 1.75 inches deep and 36 inches long; they are designed to build a new gallery wrap, not to slide inside a finished frame.

How do I know the canvas is stretched to the correct tension on the 36-inch bars?

The robust aluminium bars keep the canvas taut and wrinkle-free; even tension across all four sides shows the wrap is assembled correctly.

Does the pack of six include the 400gsm Daguerre Canvas or 410gsm Monet Canvas?

The pack contains six stretcher bar sets, corner braces, glue and tape; canvas must be purchased separately.
