Pocket-Sized Audio Capture

The HAKSDOWO H5 is a compact digital voice recorder that stores WAV files on 32 GB of internal media. A built-in lithium-polymer cell delivers 16 hours of recording per charge and recharges fully in two hours. The device measures 2.56 by 0.83 by 0.31 inches and weighs 20 grams, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag. A 3.5 mm headphone jack allows immediate playback without a computer.

Suited For Lectures And Interviews

Students, journalists and professionals who need a dedicated, screen-free recorder for long sessions will appreciate the 550-hour capacity and one-switch operation. Automatic file saving protects recordings if the battery depletes. Users who require wireless file transfer, on-device editing, or multi-track recording should consider other equipment because this model connects only via USB and records in a single WAV stream.

32 GB Internal Storage Decides Fit

The fixed 32 GB recording media determines how much audio you can keep before offloading files. At the highest 512 kbps PCM setting this space fills faster than at lower bit-rates, so buyers planning frequent high-fidelity sessions must plan regular USB transfers. If your workflow demands removable cards or larger onboard capacity, this recorder will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How much space does the H5 recorder take up in a pocket?

The H5 measures 2.56 L x 0.83 W x 0.31 H inches and weighs 20 grams, making it small enough to carry in a shirt pocket or small bag.

How do I start a recording on the H5 and avoid losing the file?

Slide the switch to ON/Rec and hold for about 5 seconds to begin; the device saves automatically before the battery dies, and moving the switch to OFF/Save finalises the file.

When will the built-in battery need replacing?

The lithium-polymer cell is rated for 16 hours of recording per charge and recharges in 2 hours; replace it when a full charge no longer delivers the rated recording time.
