Industrial caster wheel for heavy carts

This ZORO SELECT caster wheel supports a 1500 lb load rating and fits equipment in the 1000 to 2999 lb load rating range. The 8 in wheel diameter and 2 in wheel width suit industrial carts, platform trucks and material-handling dollies that need reliable mobility.

Polyurethane tread on iron core resists wear

The polyurethane tread measures 90 Shore A firmness and runs on a precision ball bearing with a standard tread shape. The iron wheel core provides structural rigidity while the non-marking tread protects finished floors during sustained transport of heavy loads.

Check axle size and hub length before ordering

The wheel requires a 1/2 in axle and has a 2 1/4 in hub length; a spanner bushing is included for fitment. Verify that your cart or wheelbarrow axle matches these dimensions and that the 8 in diameter clears the frame and brake components.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 8 in polyurethane wheel generate during continuous rolling?

The wheel uses firm 90 Shore A polyurethane on an iron core with a precision ball bearing, so rolling resistance stays low and operation is quiet even under the 1500 lb load rating.

What axle size must my cart already have to fit the 1/2 in bore of this caster wheel?

The wheel requires a 1/2 in axle; a spanner bushing is included to adapt the hub length of 2 1/4 in to your existing axle.

Will the non-marking polyurethane tread damage the epoxy floor my older shop cart rolls on?

The tread is specified as non-marking, so it will not leave streaks on epoxy or other finished floors when used with the older cart.
