8-inch 1500 lb Polyurethane Caster

This 8-inch polyurethane caster wheel supports a 1500 lb load rating. It is built for heavy-duty wheelbarrows, carts and material-handling equipment. The green tread is non-marking and suited for indoor or outdoor use.

Sustained load performance

The firm 90 Shore A polyurethane tread resists flat-spotting under continuous weight. Iron core construction maintains wheel shape when the cart remains stationary for long periods. Roller bearing operation stays consistent across the 1000 to 2999 lb rating range.

Build quality and mounting

A 2-1/4 inch hub length and 3/4 inch axle bore with included spanner bushing provide a secure fit. The standard tread shape and non-marking polyurethane protect floor surfaces. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

How much noise or vibration does the 90 Shore A polyurethane tread generate when the caster runs continuously under load?

The firm 90 Shore A polyurethane tread on an iron core is designed to roll smoothly and quietly on hard surfaces, with the non-marking material helping reduce vibration during all-day use.

What axle size and additional hardware must I already have to mount this 8-inch caster wheel?

The wheel requires a 3/4-inch axle and comes with a spanner bushing; you will need to supply the axle, mounting brackets and any fasteners for your cart or wheelbarrow frame.

Will the 3/4-inch axle bore and 2 1/4-inch hub length fit the existing brackets on my older wheelbarrow?

The caster uses a standard 3/4-inch axle bore with a 2 1/4-inch hub length, a common size on many wheelbarrows and carts, so it often matches older hardware without modification.
