Clear Poly Bags for Yard Waste

These clear polyethylene bags measure 30 inches long by 12 inches wide with a 1.5 mil thickness. They arrive in a 500-count case pack designed for landscaping and outdoor cleanup tasks. The flat-bottom design lets them stand upright while you fill them with grass clippings, leaves or light debris.

Open-Top Limits for Heavy Loads

The open-top closure has no built-in seal, so contents can spill if the bag is tipped or overfilled. Low-density polyethylene at 1.5 mil resists punctures from twigs but will tear under sharp branches or heavy wet waste. FDA-compliant material is safe for incidental food contact but the bags are not rated for hot ashes or chemical storage.

Check Bin Fit and Local Rules

Verify that a 12-inch opening matches your wheelbarrow, cart or bin before ordering the 500-pack. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the material contains listed chemicals, so confirm local disposal regulations for polyethylene film. No hang hole is included, so plan a way to store or dispense the flat-packed bags on site.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 30 x 12 inch size and other dimensions?

Choose the 30 x 12 inch bag when you need a flat, open-top poly bag that measures 30 inches long by 12 inches wide; the 1.5 mil thickness and 500-count case are fixed for this listing.

What does the 1.5 mil thickness mean for everyday use?

A 1.5 mil low-density polyethylene wall gives a lightweight, flexible barrier suited for general-purpose covering or storage; it resists dust and moisture but is not a heavy-duty liner.

Is the open-top closure compatible with heat sealers or twist ties?

Yes — the bag has a plain 30-inch open seal edge with no hang hole, so you can heat-seal, twist-tie, tape or fold the top as needed.
