Versatile blending system

The Hamilton Beach 52400 is a countertop blender with a 650W peak-power motor designed for household food and drink preparation. It includes a 32 oz jar, two 16 oz travel cups, and an 8 oz grinding cup with a shaker lid. All containers are made from no-shatter Tritan material that is dishwasher safe and BPA-free. A removable filler cap on the main jar allows ingredients to be added while blending.

Build integration and convenience

The blender sits on a worktop and requires a standard mains outlet for its 650W motor. Four included containers eliminate the need for separate storage vessels or additional blending accessories. The 32 oz jar handles family-sized batches while the 16 oz travel cups fit directly under the blade assembly for single-serve blending. Dishwasher-safe parts reduce cleanup effort and free up sink space after use.

Sustained operation behaviour

Pulse action provides controlled chopping bursts rather than continuous high-speed runs, limiting motor heat build-up during repetitive tasks. Tritan jars resist cracking under thermal stress from hot or frozen ingredients. The 650W motor delivers peak power for short blending cycles such as ice crushing or cheese grinding, then idles between batches. Continuous heavy loads are not the intended operating mode for this design.

Questions about this item

Will the 650 watt peak-power motor overheat during extended blending sessions?

The 650 watt peak-power motor handles continuous blending tasks such as smoothies, purees and icy drinks without thermal issues under normal household use.

How loud is the motor when running at full speed for several minutes?

The motor produces typical countertop-blender noise levels; the Tritan jars and stable base keep vibration low during sustained operation.

Do I need to buy extra blades or containers to use the 32 oz jar, 16 oz travel cups and 8 oz grinding cup?

All four containers and their matching blades and lids are included in the box, so no additional accessories are required to start blending.
