Gray paper for colour-coded filing

Hammermill 102889 is a 20 lb gray sheet sized at 8-1/2 x 11 inches. The pack contains 500 sheets in a single ream. It is designed for everyday office printing and copying tasks.

Replaces plain white stock when visual sorting

Switch from standard white paper when documents need instant visual separation by department, priority or project. The gray tint works in any office machine and also runs smoothly in offset presses and spirit duplicators.

Limited to single-tint identification systems

The single gray shade supports one level of colour coding per ream. Buyers who want multiple colours in one pack or heavier card stock for covers cannot meet those needs with this product.

Questions about this item

Will the 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheets fit my standard letter-size paper tray?

Yes, the 8-1/2 x 11 inch dimensions match standard US letter trays used in copiers, laser and inkjet printers.

Do I need to adjust printer settings for 20lb colored stock?

Select the "colored paper" or "light cardstock" media type in the driver so the fuser temperature and pickup rollers feed the 20lb sheets reliably.

How long will the gray color stay consistent if I store the remaining reams?

Keep unopened reams sealed in their original wrapper, stored flat in a cool, dry area to prevent moisture curl and color shift over time.
