10W LED Flood Light

This 10 watt LED flood light delivers 1000 lumens of 6000K daylight white output for outdoor security and task lighting. It suits homeowners and tradespeople who need a compact, plug-connected spotlight for eaves, porches, garages, patios, yards or gardens. The unit is rated IP66 for waterproof performance in rain, sleet and snow.

Die-cast aluminium housing with adjustable bracket

The die-cast aluminium body uses a fin-type heat sink to dissipate heat and protect against over-voltage and over-current conditions, extending the LED lifespan. An adjustable metal bracket allows stable mounting on ceilings, walls or the ground at various angles for flexible aiming. The metallic finish resists corrosion in exposed locations.

Replaces halogen or incandescent flood lights

This LED unit replaces older halogen or incandescent flood lights that consume more power and require frequent bulb changes. The jump is worth it when you want lower running costs, instant full brightness and a durable IP66-rated housing that withstands year-round weather. It is not suited for buyers who need integrated motion sensing, solar charging or a higher lumen output than 1000lm.

Questions about this item

What does the IP66 rating actually protect the floodlight against?

The IP66 rating means the housing is dust-tight and can withstand powerful water jets, so rain, sleet or snow will not penetrate the die-cast aluminium enclosure.

What mounting hardware is included and what surfaces can it attach to?

An adjustable metal bracket is supplied; it bolts to ceilings, walls or the ground and can be angled to direct the 1000 lm beam where needed.

How do I wire the unit safely, and what mistake should I avoid?

The light arrives with a plug attached — simply connect it to a suitable outdoor socket; do not cut off the plug or hard-wire the cable, as that voids the 18-month warranty.
