Shares four USB 2.0 peripherals between two computers with one-button switching and includes two 4.92 ft cables
This HANNORD switch lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or scanner. A single button toggles the active PC and an LED shows which one is connected. The unit is driver-free and works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS out of the box.
Four downstream ports handle standard low-power devices without an external supply. When a high-draw peripheral such as a portable HDD, SSD or digital video camera is attached, a separate micro-USB receptacle accepts a standard 5 V adapter (not included) to keep the device stable. Without that adapter the switch cannot power those heavier loads.
The switch draws its normal operating power from the host USB 2.0 links, so it adds no fan noise or measurable heat to the desk. Two bundled USB-A-to-A cables each measure 4.92 ft, giving enough length for side-by-side towers or a laptop-and-desktop pair. Higher-voltage chargers must not be used as they can damage the unit.

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices, so older keyboards and mice work alongside USB 2.0 peripherals on the same four ports.
The LED indicator lights up to show which of the two connected computers is currently active, giving immediate visual confirmation.
The micro USB receptacle is for optional external power; a standard 5 V adapter is not included and must be purchased separately if you connect high-power devices such as an external HDD or SSD.
