66 ft Cat8 S/FTP cable

This 66 ft Cat8 Ethernet cable uses S/FTP construction with 26AWG solid copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors. It is rated for 40Gbps data rates and 2000MHz bandwidth, making it suitable for high-speed networking in home or office environments.

Indoor and outdoor runs needing shielded Cat8

The UV-resistant PVC jacket allows direct outdoor burial or exposure to sunlight without degradation. Heavy quadruple shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference over long distances. Buyers who only need Cat5e or Cat6 performance for basic internet browsing should consider lower-category cables instead.

40Gbps at 2000MHz over 66 ft

The cable meets Cat8 specifications for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications across the full 66 ft length. Gold-plated contacts with 50 micron plating minimise signal loss at these frequencies. This bandwidth ceiling is the deciding factor for servers, gaming consoles and cloud data links that require maximum throughput.

Questions about this item

Will the 26AWG cable fit the RJ45 ports on my older router and gaming console?

Yes, the gold-plated RJ45 connectors follow the standard pinout used by routers, modems, PS5, Xbox and switches, so the 26AWG cable plugs in directly.

How can I verify the link is running at the rated 40Gbps and 2000MHz after I connect it?

Check the port status lights on your switch or router — they should show a 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T link — and run a local throughput test between two wired devices to confirm multi-gigabit speeds.

Does the 66 ft outdoor cable come with any clips or conduit, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the 66 ft S/FTP Cat8 patch cable with 24K gold RJ45 ends; mounting clips, conduit or keystone jacks are not included.
