A 3.3 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, 1440p at 165 Hz and 1080p at 144 Hz with 28 AWG tinned copper and 24 K gold connectors
Cable Length 3.3 Feet
This DisplayPort 1.4 cable links a computer or laptop to a monitor, projector or TV at up to 7680x4320@60Hz. It is aimed at users who need 8K resolution or high-refresh 4K and 2K signals without an active adapter.
The 28 AWG tinned copper conductors and multi-layer shielding maintain stable 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz throughput across the 3.3 ft run. Integrated moulding and gold-plated contacts resist degradation that cheaper cables show after repeated thermal cycles.
Plug the male connectors directly into both DisplayPort ports; no driver or external power is required. The braided nylon jacket is flexible but should not be sharply bent behind desks. Do not chain extension cords — they break the 1.4 bandwidth budget and cause drop-outs.

Other versions of this model
The cable is passive; it carries the signal without active electronics, so it produces no measurable heat and adds no power draw beyond the source and display.
Both devices need a standard DisplayPort (DP, DP++ or DisplayPort++) connector; the cable plugs directly into those ports with no adapters required.
The cable is backward compatible, but the 4K 120 Hz mode requires DisplayPort 1.4 on both ends; a 1.2 source will fall back to its maximum supported resolution and refresh rate.
