Share four USB 3.0 peripherals between two computers with push-button switching and LED indication
This HANNORD KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals with a single button press. It suits home offices or small workplaces where a keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner must move between a desktop and a laptop. No drivers are required on Windows, macOS, Linux or Chrome OS. The device adds four downstream ports while occupying one upstream port on each host.
The unit draws bus power for typical low-draw devices such as keyboards, mice and flash drives. A micro-USB port accepts a standard 5 V adapter when external hard drives or other high-current peripherals are connected. LED indicators show which computer is active. The switch itself adds no fan noise or measurable heat during normal switching.
Two 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables are included so both computers can be connected immediately. A 5 V power adapter is not supplied; any charger with a higher voltage output must not be used. The package contains only the switch and the two cables, keeping the setup straightforward for typical keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner sharing.

Plug the Type-B end of each 1.5m USB 3.0 cable into the switch's two upstream ports, then connect the Type-A ends to your computers; press the push button to toggle the active system.
Connect a standard 5V adapter (not included) to the Micro USB port when a bus-powered device such as a portable hard drive does not receive enough current from the two host links.
The USB 3.0 interface caps sustained transfers at 5Gb/s, so that bus limit is reached before any internal bottleneck.
