The HANNORD USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA converter connects 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDDs, SSDs and IDE hard drives to a computer through a USB 3.0 male port. It also supports optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. A 12V 2A power adapter and 4-pin power cable are included for 3.5" devices. The adapter works with Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems.

5 Gbps USB 3.0 Interface

The single specification that decides suitability is the USB 3.0 interface delivering up to 5 Gbps transfer speed. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. The converter provides one SATA connector and two IDE connectors (40pin and 44pin). Drive capacity support reaches 6TB. Sustained Multi-Drive Operation
