Product identity

The Hanwha Techwin ANO-L7012R is a 4MP bullet network camera with a 3mm fixed lens and 20m IR range. It captures 2560 x 1440 video at up to 30fps using H.265 or H.264 compression. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation for indoor or outdoor surveillance.

Suitable use cases

Installers needing a compact white bullet camera with wide 98.3° horizontal coverage and local Micro SD storage up to 128GB will find it fits. Buyers who want motorised zoom, varifocal adjustment or longer IR reach should look at other models.

Capacity and headroom

The 1/3" CMOS sensor handles 2K resolution at 30fps with 120dB WDR for high-contrast scenes. IR illumination covers 20m in darkness. The 10/100 RJ-45 link and 7.5W maximum draw set the bandwidth and power limits for multi-camera deployments.

Questions about this item

Does the ANO-L7012R need a separate power supply or will a PoE switch cover it?

The camera draws up to 7.5W via IEEE802.3af Class 3 PoE, so any compliant PoE switch or injector powers it over the single RJ-45 cable.

Can I keep my existing 1080p NVR and just add this 4MP bullet camera?

Yes — the camera streams H.265, H.264 or MJPEG at 1920×1080 and lower resolutions, so a 1080p recorder can record it without changes.

How do I confirm the IR is reaching the full 20 metres after mounting?

Check the live view at night: the image should show clear black-and-white detail out to 20m with the IR LEDs on and the ICR filter engaged.
