Multi-Directional Dome System

The Hanwha Techwin PNM-7002VD integrates two 2-megapixel sensors inside a single dome housing. Each sensor captures video at 1920 x 1080 resolution using H.264 and H.265 compression. Wired network connectivity is provided through an RJ-45 port.

Installations Needing Two Angles From One Mount

This camera suits installers who want to cover two separate fields of view without running cable for a second device. It is not suited for applications that require more than two sensor positions or a different form factor such as a bullet or PTZ unit.

Dual 2-Megapixel Sensor Configuration

The defining specification is the twin 2MP sensor array that delivers two independent 1080p streams from one dome. Buyers should confirm that two viewing angles meet the site plan before selecting this model.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a single-sensor dome or the 2-sensor PNM-7002VD for wider coverage?

The PNM-7002VD uses two 2-megapixel sensors in one dome, letting you point each lens at a different area without installing multiple cameras.

What does the 1920 x 1080 resolution mean for recorded footage on this camera?

Each sensor captures full HD 1920 x 1080 video, so faces and licence plates stay readable across both viewing angles.

How does the RJ-45 wired connection affect bandwidth for H.265 streams on the PNM-7002VD?

The single RJ-45 port carries both sensor streams using H.265 compression, reducing network load compared with older H.264 encoding.
