Dual 2MP varifocal camera

The Hanwha Vision PNM-C7083RVD is a P-Series outdoor surveillance unit that combines two 2MP sensors behind a single 3-6mm varifocal lens. Each 1/2.8" CMOS imager captures independent video streams for wide-area coverage. The wired design suits permanent installations where consistent power and data paths are required. Infrared illumination reaches 61 to 100 feet for low-light recording.

Suited for fixed outdoor positions.

Installers who want dual-angle views from one mounting point will benefit from the twin-sensor layout and adjustable focal length. The camera requires a wired network and power infrastructure, so sites without cabling or conduit should look elsewhere. Buyers needing motorised pan, tilt or zoom movement will not find those functions here. The 90-day seller warranty also means long-term manufacturer coverage is not included.

Integrates with wired NVR or VMS platforms

The camera connects to a network video recorder or video management system through a standard wired link, drawing power over the same cable run where supported. Its varifocal lens lets installers set the exact field of view during commissioning, freeing the installer from carrying multiple fixed-lens units. Dual streams allow separate recording profiles for live monitoring and archival storage without extra hardware.

Questions about this item

What network video recorder or recording software is required to capture footage from the PNM-C7083RVD's dual 2MP sensors?

The camera connects by a wired network link and streams two independent 2MP channels; it needs an NVR or VMS that supports multi-sensor Hanwha P-Series devices and can record both streams simultaneously.

Will the 3-6mm varifocal lens cover the same field of view as the fixed 4mm lens on my existing outdoor camera?

The varifocal range adjusts between wide and narrow angles; at its widest setting it is broader than a typical 4mm fixed lens, and at its narrowest it is tighter, so you can match or change the view during installation.

How can I verify the infrared illumination is reaching the full 61 to 100 feet range after mounting?

View the live night image on the NVR or app: people and vehicles should be clearly recognisable at the far edge of the intended coverage zone, and the IR LEDs should show a faint red glow when the camera switches to night mode.
