Zone Controller for DriveRack and ZonePRO

The DBX ZC3 is a program and source selector designed to extend the functionality of DriveRack and ZonePRO systems. It uses analog DC voltage over CAT5 cable with RJ-45 connectors to provide logic control for zone source selection, volume, muting, and scene selection. Wiring distances up to 1000 ft are supported for flexible contractor installations.

Replaces Manual Switching and Basic Volume Pots

This unit upgrades installations that rely on simple analog switches or local potentiometers by centralising logic control over a single affordable cable run. The jump is worth it when a project demands multi-zone source selection, scene recall, or fire-safety muting across distances that exceed typical analogue wiring limits without signal degradation.

Suits Contractors Integrating DriveRack

Installers needing wall-panel control for zone routing, volume, and safety muting over long cable runs will find this device fits the requirement. Buyers who want more storage or standalone audio processing without a compatible DriveRack or ZonePRO host should look at something else.
