Apple-certified Ethernet + PoE adapter for Zoom

The Heckler Design T272 adds wired networking and Power over Ethernet to the Zoom Rooms Console. A single braided-nylon cable connects the controller to the network while keeping the iPad charged. iOS 10.0 or later is required for operation.

Practical limits of the Ethernet + PoE interface

The adapter delivers both data and power through one cable, removing the need for a separate power supply. Network speed and power budget follow the Ethernet and PoE standards used by the console. A la carte orders are limited to 10 units per customer.

Installation notes and common issues

Connect the braided-nylon cable between the console and the network switch or injector. Ensure the switch or injector provides PoE power; without it the iPad will not charge. Verify the iPad runs iOS 10.0 or later before deployment.
