Bundled capabilities

A built-in microphone adds one-way audio capture while dual illumination provides 98.4ft of full-colour night vision and IR fallback. MicroSD cards up to 256GB are supported for local recording. The camera works with AMLINK NVRs, AMLINK Surveillance Pro, Blue Iris, FTP, SFTP, NAS and major browsers, and the AMLINK Pro App delivers motion alerts and remote viewing.

Deciding specification

This model requires a PoE injector or switch that is not included in the package. Buyers without existing PoE infrastructure must budget for that extra hardware before installation can begin.

Questions about this item

How long will the white LED illuminator last before it needs replacement?

The built-in white LED provides colour night vision to 98.4 ft and is rated for continuous operation; no user-replaceable schedule is published.

What limits continuous recording first — the 20 fps frame rate, the 256 GB MicroSD ceiling or the H.264 bitrate?

At 5 MP and 20 fps the H.264 stream fills a 256 GB card in roughly two days, so card capacity is the first bottleneck.

How hot does the metal turret get and how loud is the fan during all-day outdoor use?

The IP66 metal housing runs passively with no fan; surface temperature stays within normal operating range for outdoor security cameras.
