Henkel Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty

Henkel Loctite Fun-Tak is a blue mounting putty supplied as a single piece. It suits home, office or classroom users who need a removable way to hold lightweight items such as posters, notes or decorations on walls and other surfaces. The putty avoids nails, pins or permanent adhesives.

Installation ease and common issues

Press a small piece onto the back of the item and then press the item onto the clean surface. The putty conforms to irregular textures and holds without tools. Dust, oil or moisture on the surface reduces grip, so wipe the area first. Very heavy objects may pull away; the putty is intended for light loads only.

What to check before ordering

Confirm that the mounting surface is clean, dry and able to accept a temporary adhesive. The product is a single blue piece, so verify that one unit provides enough putty for the planned number of items. No specific wall material or temperature range is listed in the data.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the Loctite Fun-Tak is holding securely after I press it onto the wall?

The blue putty should feel tacky and stay in place when you press an item against it; if the object remains fixed without sliding, the mount is working as intended.

What comes in the package and do I need any extra tools or adhesives?

The box contains one piece of blue Loctite Fun-Tak mounting putty; no additional tools, tapes or adhesives are required for use.

Which version should I choose if I only need a single piece for light office use?

The 1270884 model is sold as one each, making it the appropriate choice for a single small mounting job.
