Composite bandwidth limits

The three RCA plugs carry standard-definition video plus stereo audio, so 480i games and DVD playback work normally. Higher-resolution modes such as 480p, 720p or 1080i are not supported by this interface. On a PS3 the cable will only output composite; the console’s HDMI port must be used for HD content.
