Waterproof Portable Speaker for Outdoor Use

The HEYSONG FreeSound is an IP67 rated portable speaker built for wet and rugged environments. It survives submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes and floats if dropped in water. Designed for shower, pool, beach, hiking or kayaking use. The 5 watt active driver delivers stereo sound from a single compact unit.

Simple Bluetooth Pairing and Controls

Bluetooth 5.0 connects to smartphones, tablets, laptops or desktops within 10 meters. Pairing is instant and the link stays stable up to 33 feet. Two speakers can be synced for true wireless stereo separation. Onboard buttons handle power, volume and playback without needing the source device. The 1000 mAh battery recharges fully in 2 hours.

Battery Life and Single Driver Limits

Playtime reaches 15 hours at medium volume before a recharge is needed. The 1.0 channel configuration means there is no physical left and right separation unless a second speaker is added. Maximum output is 5 watts, so it suits personal or small group listening rather than large gatherings. The 20 KHz response ceiling limits the highest treble detail.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the speaker is paired and playing correctly after turning it on?

Press and hold the power button to switch it on, then check your phone or tablet for the Bluetooth 5.0 connection; once paired, audio should play through the 5 W driver and the speaker will float if placed in water, confirming the IP67 seal is intact.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package includes the HEYSONG FreeSound speaker only; you will need a USB power source such as a phone charger or laptop port to recharge the built-in 1000 mAh battery, and a Bluetooth 5.0 device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) to stream audio.

Which version should I choose for stereo sound versus a single unit?

One FreeSound speaker delivers 5 W mono output; buying two units lets you enable True Wireless Stereo pairing for left and right channel separation, doubling the coverage for larger outdoor spaces.
