Digital Hygrometer for Indoor Monitoring
The HFS digital hygrometer thermometer measures ambient temperature from -20°C to 60°C and relative humidity from 20% to 80% RH with ±1.5°C and ±5% RH accuracy. A GXHTC3 sensor samples eight times per second and refreshes the 34 mm by 31 mm LCD display three times per second. It suits home, industrial, agricultural and medical environments where quick ambient readings are needed.
Thermals Noise and Power Draw
The handheld unit operates on two 1.5 V AAA batteries and includes an auto power-off function after 15 minutes that can be disabled for continuous logging. With no moving parts the meter runs silently and generates negligible heat during normal indoor use. The specified working environment is -10°C to 50°C at up to 80% RH for indoor altitude conditions.
Bundled Accessories and Software
The package supplies the meter, two AAA batteries, a storage bag and an English user manual so the device is ready to use immediately. The bag protects the 167 mm by 59 mm by 29 mm housing during transport or storage. No software or connectivity features are included; all functions such as data hold, min/max recall and unit conversion are operated directly on the unit.

Questions about this item
How do I install the batteries in the HFS Digital Hygrometer Thermometer, and what step is often missed?
Open the rear battery compartment, insert two 1.5 V AAA cells matching the polarity markings, then close the cover. The step often missed is disabling the 15-minute auto power-off if you need continuous monitoring.
What maintenance or replacement will this hygrometer need later?
Replace the two AAA batteries when the display dims or readings become erratic. The GXHTC3 sensor itself requires no calibration or replacement under normal indoor use within the stated operating limits.
What limit appears first during sustained use of this thermometer?
The 15-minute auto power-off activates first unless disabled. For continuous logging, turn off the auto-off function; the device will then run until the AAA batteries are depleted.
