General-purpose masking tape

Highland 260024A is a cream-coloured masking tape supplied on a three-inch core. The roll measures one inch wide by sixty yards long. It is intended for everyday masking, bundling and light sealing tasks in workshops, offices or classrooms.

Consistent unwind and conformability

The tape unwinds smoothly without tearing or curling, which reduces waste during application. Its conformable backing follows irregular surfaces and corners, helping the adhesive maintain contact on uneven substrates.

Limits of a rubber-based masking adhesive

The adhesive is designed for temporary holding and clean removal rather than permanent bonding. Extended exposure to heat, sunlight or moisture can cause residue or reduced peel performance, so the tape is not suited for long-term outdoor or high-temperature use.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1 inch wide masking tape need replacing on a 60 yard roll?

Replacement depends on how much length you use per job; a 60 yard roll lasts until the full length is consumed.

What limits continuous use of the Highland 260024A tape during a long masking task?

The practical limit is the 60 yard roll length; once it runs out you must start a new roll.

Does the masking tape generate heat or noise when left applied all day?

No, the tape is a passive adhesive product and produces no heat or noise while in place.
