Business Projector 2700 Lumens XGA

The Hitachi CP-X2530WN is a new 3LCD business projector rated at 2,700 lumens with a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768. It suits classrooms, boardrooms and home users who need a 4:3 aspect ratio and built-in 16-watt speakers for presentations or video playback. The unit includes HDMI, VGA, USB, RJ-45, RS-232, composite and S-Video inputs for wide device compatibility.

Medium Throw Ratio and 4:3 Native Resolution

The projector uses a medium throw lens, so placement distance must match the screen width required for the 4:3 native format. Its HDMI input accepts 1080p signals but scales them to the 1024 x 768 panel, limiting fine detail compared with a native 1080p display. The 4,000:1 contrast ratio provides adequate black levels for lit rooms but not for dark home-cinema use.

2700 Lumens Brightness and Network Control

At 2,700 lumens the image remains visible in rooms with moderate ambient light, though very bright spaces may wash out the picture. The RJ-45 port enables Crestron RoomView management for IT teams scheduling power and source changes across multiple units. Buyers needing widescreen 16:9 native resolution, higher contrast for darkened rooms or wireless casting without extra hardware should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2700 lumen model or a different brightness version?

The CP-X2530WN delivers 2700 lumens; the listed range is 2500 to 2999 lumens, so this model sits near the top of that band.

How bright will 2700 lumens look in a lit meeting room?

2700 lumens on a 3LCD engine gives clear XGA images with lights on; the 4000:1 contrast keeps text readable in typical office ambient light.

What does the HDMI Standard port actually support?

HDMI Standard accepts 1080p input; the native panel is 1024 x 768, so 1080p signals are scaled to XGA resolution.
