Compact DLP projector for meetings

The NEC V260X uses DLP technology to deliver a native 1024 x 768 image at 2600 lumens. Its 2000:1 contrast ratio keeps text legible in lit rooms. Weighing 5.5 lbs, the unit suits tabletop or ceiling placement.

Connectivity built for laptops

A Thunderbolt Mini DP bundle is included, letting modern notebooks plug in without extra adapters. The projector also accepts 1080i signals, so high-definition sources downscale cleanly to the native panel. Daily setup stays simple with a single-cable link.

Brightness decides the venue

At 2600 lumens the V260X handles typical conference lighting but will struggle in direct sunlight or large auditoriums. Buyers needing higher output for bright halls should look elsewhere. The fixed 1024 x 768 resolution also limits detail for fine-graphic work.

Questions about this item

How much clearance and weight capacity does the 5.5 lbs unit need for ceiling mounting?

At 5.5 lbs the V260X requires a mount rated for at least that weight and enough vertical space for the projector body plus cable bend radius.

What is the correct order for connecting sources and powering on the DLP projector?

Connect all video cables first, then plug in the power cord and press the power button; skipping this sequence can prevent the 1024x768 DLP engine from syncing to 1080i signals.
