Bright WUXGA projection for large venues

The Hitachi CP-WU5500 delivers 5000 ANSI lumens at a native 1920 x 1200 resolution using 3LCD technology. It is built for classrooms, lecture halls and auditoriums that need clear, readable images even with ambient light. Integrated stereo speakers add convenient audio without external hardware.

Consistent output through long sessions

The lamp provides 4000 hours of life in Standard mode and extends to 6000 hours in Eco mode, reducing the frequency of replacements during heavy daily use. A hybrid filter rated for 10000 hours further cuts maintenance downtime. HDCR, Accentualizer and Image Optimizer functions work continuously to preserve contrast and colour balance during extended operation.

Steps up from lower-brightness WXGA models

This projector replaces units that fall below 3500 lumens or offer only WXGA resolution, where text and fine detail lose clarity in bright rooms. The jump is worth it when rooms cannot be darkened, when screens are large, or when stacking two units for extra brightness is required. It is not for buyers who need 4K native resolution or portable battery-powered operation.
