Genuine Compatible Lamp for CP-X245

This 180W replacement lamp module fits the Hitachi CP-X245 projector. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing for straightforward installation. The unit uses a UHB lamp rated for 2,000 hours of operation. Buyers who need a higher-wattage module for a different projector model cannot use this lamp.

Practical limits of the UHB lamp standard

The 180W UHB lamp delivers 2,000 hours of rated life before brightness drops to half. Image quality will gradually dim as the bulb ages past this point. The module is built to ISO 9001 quality checks for ignition, voltage and run-time consistency. Projectors that require a different wattage or lamp type will not accept this module.

Replaces the original DT00731 lamp module

This unit serves as a direct swap for the factory DT00731 lamp supplied with the CP-X245. It restores full brightness when the original lamp reaches its 2,000-hour limit or fails earlier. The jump is worth it when the projected image has become noticeably dim or the projector warns of lamp end-of-life. Users whose projectors still meet brightness needs can defer replacement.

Questions about this item

Which lamp version should I pick for the CP-X245?

Four versions exist: three OEM options from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, plus a compatible using genuine OEM parts. All meet ISO 9001 and are tested for beam, ignition, voltage and run-time.

What does the 180 W rating mean in my projector?

The 180 W UHB bulb delivers the original brightness and colour performance designed for the CP-X245, with a rated life of 2,000 hours under normal use.

Does the DT00731 module need any extra wiring?

No. The lamp ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing that fits directly into the CP-X245 without additional cables or adapters.
