Rated 2000 Hours at Full Power

The lamp is specified for 2000 hours of operation at its 165W rating, giving a clear baseline for maintenance planning under continuous use. Each unit is tested for ignition, voltage stability, beam performance and run-time to meet ISO 9001 quality standards before it leaves the supplier.

Swaps the Original DT00751 Module

This lamp replaces the factory DT00751 module without modification, making the upgrade worthwhile when the existing lamp reaches its rated life or shows dimming and colour shift. It is not suited for projectors that require a different wattage or housing format.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 165W UHB lamp draw and how much heat does it add to a small room during all-day use?

The lamp is rated at 165W, so it draws that amount from the projector's power supply. In a small room the extra heat is roughly equivalent to a 165W incandescent bulb running continuously; ensure the projector's vents stay clear and the room has normal ventilation.

Does the DT00751 module include the housing so I can install it without buying a separate cage or tools?

Yes. The module arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for direct installation in the projector without any extra cage, tools or separate components.

Will this 165W replacement work in my older Hitachi projector that originally shipped with a 165W lamp rated for 2,000 hours?

The lamp matches the 165W rating and 2,000-hour life specified for the CP-X265W series. If your older model uses the same DT00751 part number and 165W UHB specification, it will operate correctly.
