Three OEM sources and a compatible tier

Depending on stock, the module ships as the original bulb maker's OEM unit, the Hitachi-branded OEM unit, an alternative OEM version or an economical compatible build using genuine OEM parts. Every version undergoes the same quality checks for appearance, connections and run-time before dispatch. Buyers who need a specific manufacturer batch cannot select one at checkout.

2,000-hour rated life at 230 watts

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation at its 230W power draw, defining the replacement interval for classrooms or meeting rooms. Projectors that demand a different wattage or a longer rated lifespan will not be served by this module.

Questions about this item

When will the 230W lamp reach its 2000-hour rated life and need replacement?

The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of use; after that period brightness drops and the module should be replaced.

What limits continuous operation before the 230W UHB bulb overheats?

The projector's internal thermal management governs sustained run time; the lamp itself has no separate duty-cycle rating.

How much heat and fan noise does the 230W module add during all-day projection?

The 230W lamp generates significant heat, so the projector's cooling fans run at higher speeds, increasing audible noise during extended sessions.
