Genuine Hitachi DT00691 replacement lamp

The Hitachi DT00691 is a new 230W UHB projector lamp module supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is designed for direct installation in compatible Hitachi projectors without additional assembly. This replacement part restores original brightness and colour performance for home cinema, classroom or business presentation use.

Lamp life and power limits

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of typical operation at its 230W power draw. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp approaches this limit, and exceeding the rated hours increases the risk of rupture or projector shutdown. Users should monitor the projector's built-in timer and plan replacement before the rated life is reached.

230W UHB bulb specification

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 230W UHB bulb type matched to the DT00691 part number. Only projectors designed for this exact wattage and lamp code will strike reliably and maintain correct thermal balance. Installing a different wattage or lamp code will cause ignition failure or damage.

Questions about this item

Which version of the DT00691 lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Four versions are offered: the original OEM bulb from the projector's first supplier, the same OEM lamp sold by Hitachi, an alternative OEM bulb from a different qualified manufacturer, and a cost‑effective compatible module built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 230W rating mean for brightness and heat in my projector?

The lamp draws 230 watts, delivering the light output the projector was designed for while producing the corresponding heat that the cooling system is built to handle.

How does the 2,000‑hour lamp life translate to actual use?

At typical brightness settings the lamp is rated for about 2,000 hours of operation; running the projector in eco mode can extend that period, while high‑brightness mode will shorten it.
