Hitachi HCP-580X projector lamp module

This Hitachi HCP-580X lamp module ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so it installs without extra tools. It uses a Philips UHB 165W bulb rated for 2,000 hours of operation. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards and supplied in new condition.

Check projector model

Confirm that your projector uses the HCP-580X designation or the manufacturer part number DT00751. The supplier notes that up to four versions exist, including three OEM variants and one compatible build, so verify which version your device requires. Ensure the projector housing accepts a pre-assembled module of this specification.

Replaces worn or failed original lamp modules

This module replaces a depleted original lamp when brightness drops or the projector signals end of life. The jump is worth it when the existing bulb has reached or exceeded its rated 2,000-hour service interval. It restores full output without needing to source a bare bulb and separate housing.

Questions about this item

Does the HCP-580X lamp ship as a complete module or must I buy the housing separately?

It arrives as a fully assembled 165W Philips UHB bulb inside its housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

How do the four HCP-580X versions differ and which should I pick?

Three are OEM — direct from the original bulb maker, from Hitachi, or from another OEM bulb maker — plus one cost-effective compatible built with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO 9001 quality checks.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for daily use?

At typical brightness it provides roughly 2,000 hours of projection before replacement is recommended.
