The Hitoor 202DP is a new dual-monitor KVM switch that lets two computers share two DisplayPort 1.4 displays and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, with actual output dependent on the graphics cards, monitors and cables used. A wired remote and front-panel buttons provide two ways to change the active system.

This unit fits users who run two PCs, each equipped with two DisplayPort outputs, and want both monitors active in extended or mirrored mode without unplugging cables. It is not suited for setups where either computer lacks two DisplayPort outputs, or for anyone requiring HDMI or USB-C video inputs. The switch also requires the included 12 V power adapter to operate.

DisplayPort 1.4 interface

The single specification that decides compatibility is the DisplayPort 1.4 video interface on both the computer and monitor sides. Each PC must connect two DP 1.4 cables plus one USB 3.0 cable to the switch, so graphics cards without two native DisplayPort ports cannot be used directly. Maximum supported timings are 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz.
