Dual-DisplayPort KVM for Two Computers

This DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and a single keyboard and mouse set. It supports extended and mirror modes selected with Windows+P and works driver-free on Windows 10, 11, Linux and Mac OS. Front-panel buttons and a 1.5 m wired remote change the active system in 2-4 seconds. Four USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals at up to 5 Gbps.

Video bandwidth and adapter limits

Maximum supported timings are 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, with backward compatibility to DP 1.2. Each computer must provide two native DisplayPort outputs; HDMI or USB-C sources need active adapters. The unit has no EDID emulation, so window positions may shift after switching or reboot. External 5 V power is required when high-draw USB devices such as hard drives are connected.

Two-port computer connection constraint

The switch only accepts two computer inputs, so setups needing three or more hosts cannot use this model. Buyers who want more computer ports must choose a different KVM.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a KVM that handles two monitors and two computers, or a single-monitor model?

This 202DP unit is built for two computers sharing two monitors, so pick it when you need dual-screen extended or mirrored desktops on both systems.

What does the 8K@30Hz headline mean once the switch is in my setup?

It can pass up to 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz, but the final resolution depends on your graphics cards, monitors and cables all supporting those modes.

Which DisplayPort standard does it use, and what does that cap in practice?

It supports DP 1.4 and is backward compatible with DP 1.2, so the link speed and features are limited to whatever the connected source and display negotiate.
