Metal Build with Wired Remote

A metal chassis houses four USB-B upstream ports and four downstream ports for peripherals. Four 0.8 m USB-B cables are included so every computer connects immediately. A 1.5 m wired remote lets you tuck the switch out of sight while keeping the selection button within reach. Front-panel LEDs show the active port at a glance.

Bus Power with Optional 5 V Input

The switch draws power from the connected computers and needs no dedicated adapter for typical keyboards, mice or flash drives. A micro-USB port accepts a 5 V 2 A supply when high-draw devices such as external hard drives or webcams are attached; the power cable is included but the adapter is not. USB 3.0 delivers up to 5 Gb/s throughput and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 gear.
