Three-monitor KVM for four systems

The Hitoor 403B DP lets four desktops or laptops share one keyboard, one mouse and three DisplayPort monitors. Each connected computer must already support triple-display output for the switch to work as intended. The unit also provides three USB 3.0 ports for peripherals plus separate audio and microphone jacks.

Upgrade from dual-monitor or two-system switches

Moving to this model makes sense when a workflow grows beyond two computers or two screens and the user needs simultaneous extended, mirrored or spliced views across three panels. It is not suited for setups that require HDMI or DVI monitor inputs, nor for single-monitor workstations that would leave two outputs unused.

Limits of the DisplayPort 1.4 interface

The switch passes up to 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz, with backward compatibility to DP 1.2. Bandwidth above those rates is not supported, so higher refresh rates at 8K or uncompressed 8K at 60 Hz cannot be achieved. Cable length and quality also affect whether the maximum resolutions remain stable.
