8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz headroom

The switch passes video up to 7680x4320 at 30 Hz, 3840x2160 at 120 Hz and 3440x1440 at 144 Hz. Both monitors can show different content in extended mode or identical content in mirror mode. Bandwidth runs out above 8K@60Hz, so higher refresh rates at that resolution are not supported.

Passive cooling and external 12 V power

The aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without a fan, so operation is silent. A 12 V adapter is included because the USB 3.0 hub and dual-video engine draw more current than the host ports can supply. Power consumption stays modest in typical office or gaming sessions.
