Two-laptop single-monitor KVM

The Hitoor USB-C KVM switch lets two laptops share one display, keyboard, mouse and wired network through a single push-button on the front panel. It accepts two USB-C host connections and outputs to either an HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 monitor, but only one video output is active at a time. Seven USB 2.0 Type-A ports and two Thunderbolt ports provide peripheral expansion for both machines.

Video switching limits

Maximum supported resolutions are 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz, though HDMI and DP cannot display simultaneously. Each laptop receives up to 100 W of USB-C Power Delivery while connected, so separate chargers are not required. The switch draws its operating power from the host ports and ships with two USB-C cables for immediate setup.

Aluminium chassis and daily use

An aluminium-alloy shell aids heat dissipation and gives the unit a rigid feel on the desk. Front-mounted selector button and LED indicators show the active host at a glance. A 3.5 mm audio jack passes headset signals through to the current laptop, and the RJ45 port shares a single wired network connection.
