Compact 5 L bath for low-temperature lab work

The HNZXIB DFY-5/20 is a new constant-temperature circulator built for research, biology, physics, medicine and chemistry departments. It replaces dry ice or liquid nitrogen in low-temperature experiments and supplies chilled fluid to external equipment. A 5 L stainless tank and 20 L/min pump give enough volume and flow for routine bench-scale tasks.

5 L capacity and 20 L/min flow

The bath holds 5 litres and circulates at 20 litres per minute across a -20 °C to 98 °C range. Temperature accuracy is ±0.1 °C under no-load conditions. Dual-section magnetic stirring at the tank bottom improves uniformity. Cooling capacity spans 1 248 W down to 319 W depending on set point, so heavy continuous heat loads will eventually exceed the chiller's ability to maintain the lowest temperatures.

110 V mains supply and 285 mm opening define

The unit runs on 110 V, 60 Hz power and is rated for ambient conditions of 25 °C with 60–80 % relative humidity in a ventilated space. The circular opening measures 285 mm in diameter, limiting the size of vessels or probes that can be immersed directly. No other electrical or plumbing interfaces are specified, so buyers needing different voltages, higher flow rates or larger bath volumes must look elsewhere.
